about

The ‘Four Way 3’ EP is the newest release off the Crown Jules label owned by Mode FM’s J Beatz. With recent releases on the label coming from Potentz’s ‘5 Bills EP’ and J Beatz’s very own ‘Chestplate EP’, this new, collaborative EP on the label consists of 4 tracks.

The first of these by ‘Ram Jam’ by Levlz, which slowly builds up the ante before revealing a high-tempo banger with some help from some deftly placed hi-hats and drum effects. This is a track that will definitely raise the energy levels in any place.
Next on the EP is Limit & J Beatz called ‘No Signal’ is a pounding riddim with the sort of bass-heavy vibes that would shut it down in any rave with ravers becoming numb to their surroundings by the spacey sounding track.

Following on from that is Sean D’s entry onto the EP called ‘Muky’. This is a wild and frenzied production, spraying blasts of eerie sounding madness from all angles. DJs using this riddim can definitely expect to pull a reload or two.

Ending the EP is Beat Boss 4 champion Sware’s riddim called ‘The Flow’. A flowing riddim that calm the tone down on the EP, Sware may not bring the head-thumping, chaotic sounds on this project but this is still a riddim that holds its own on this EP.

Whether the sounds frantic or mellow, ‘Four Way 3’ is an EP full of grimey sounds that will be appreciated by DJs, producers and fans alike.
